Saber Case - "open wall" (cherry)

This listing is for one brand new beautiful Saber Sword Display Case, hand-crafted from solid, kiln-dried Cherry wood (no particle board is used). The wood is stained, then top-coated (twice) with a clear conversion varnish which meets all environmental regulations.  Backing is black felt (however, optional felt colors are Navy Blue, Hunter Green, Wine Red, and Saddle Gray).

This case is specifically designed for a Cadet saber/scabbard. (Sword shown is not included.) If you have a different type of sword (such as an Officer's), please see our other listing or inquire, as we make various types of cases to fit various types of swords.

Overall outside dimensions are roughly 2-1/4" x 10" x 40". Inside dimensions are roughly 2" x 8-1/2" x 38-1/2". Also, as you can see from the photo, it contains a fixed wooden block for the purpose of affixing an engraved name plate. This block measures 2-1/4" x 4-5/8".  An engraved nameplate is not included with this display, but can be ordered for an additional $35, by choosing this option (the $35 price is included when choosing this option). If ordered, please e-mail us separately - and immediately - with the precise wording of the text you'd like to appear on the nameplate (including all punctuation, upper/lower case letters etc.). The text will be centered on the nameplate, unless we are otherwise instructed.  This is an "open-wall" case...meaning it has no hinged glass door in the front.
